What you can’t see is costing you
Through individual coaching, workshops, HR supervision and executive reflection, I support leaders and organisations to uncover the blind spots that silently undermine performance, retention, and wellbeing - unlocking untapped opportunity for organisational and individual growth
Doctor Katie Splevins (DClinPsych)
Katie is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with nearly 20 years’ experience in complex systems and high-stakes settings, including specialist NHS services, the criminal justice system, overseas development and leadership within NHSE - giving her a rare ability to connect dots across disciplines, roles, and environments.
Using her award-winning, research-backed model grounded in compassion-focused approaches, she helps individuals and organisations turn emotional insight into stronger leadership, wellbeing and resilience.
Her Life-Work philosophy recognises that human capacities for growth, performance, and resilience evolved in a context very different to modern environments which can often push us into stress-driven behaviours.
A person’s Lifework - the pursuit of a lifetime that gives a person purpose and allows them to contribute at their highest capacity - usually spans both life and work. By helping people align with this natural design, Katie supports integrated growth, resilience, and connection, while enabling organisations to harness life transitions as opportunities for leadership development and cultural transformation.
How do I support organisations?
All organisations have blind spots - hidden patterns, pressures, or assumptions that quietly drain performance, stall progress, and affect retention and wellbeing. Through team development workshops, aways days and parent-leadership development training, I help organisations uncover what’s been overlooked and turn it into insight, alignment, and action.
Benefits include:
Improved retention, particularly during parental leave, organisational changes and life transitions
Greater resilience and capacity to perform under pressure
Stronger mental health and wellbeing across teams
Unlocking talent and potential through key life and career transitions
More inclusive, emotionally intelligent workplace cultures
Clearer communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution
Visible progress on gender equity and DEI goals.
How do I support individuals?
Those leading and supporting others - HR leaders, executives and CEOs - shape the culture, wellbeing and performance of an organisation. I offer a confidential, evidence-based space in which you are visible and validated and can gain insights which translate into sustainable resilience, performance and clarity that benefit yourself and your organisation.
Benefits include:
Reduced burnout
Greater self-awareness and understanding of how you show up
Improved decision-making, focus, and resilience under pressure
Stronger executive presence and credibility
Higher confidence in leading others and managing conflict
Smarter risk-taking and faster learning from setbacks
Calmer, clearer conversations and improved collaboration
I started benefitting from Dr. Katie Splevins’ expertise and guidance as a Programme Manager in NHS England whilst also going through fertility treatment. I could not have become the Senior Leader I am today, nor the calm and compassionate person I’ve become, without her exceptional guidance. I’m grateful my organisation was intelligent enough to see the value of the science behind Katie’s work and the impact her approach would have on me, my leadership style and my team.
